To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to tell you how V.I.P has helped me. last year
during Christmas time, I had felt alone and as if I would never
get back on my feet. I Came here with my daughter from Poland to
live with my husband. I had been here for a year, and my husband
was abusive and an alcoholic. I came to VIP and they helped me
recognize that I did not deserve to be abused. I went into their
shelter and they helped me get on my feet. With their support
and counseling, I was able to gain back my self esteem. I now
live in an apartment with my daughter, and working with a work
VISA that they helped me obtain. The staff at VIP made a big
difference in my life, and without them I would have continued
to be abused. I am grateful, and hopefully I will one day be
able to help other victims. |
